UP-RERA to issue a show-cause notice to Supertech Realtors under Section 5 (1) of the RERA Act to explain why the application for registration of Golf Country GH01-Phase-1A and Golf Country GH01-Phase-1 B should not be rejected.
It may be pertinent to note there are 2454 complaints registered complaints against the promoter and its affiliated companies in total out of which 1629 cases have been disposed of whereas 105 and 1243 are the refund and possession orders respectively.
There are 36 projects registered by Supertech, however, the builder has not shown keen interest to complete many of the incomplete projects. As many as 20 projects are there where registration has been lapsed and are incomplete.
Out of the 20 projects, in five projects the registration has not been granted because the penalty amount has not been deposited by the promoter and in 13 projects no request for the project registration has been made to the authority as yet.
It was noted that complaints have been filed in large number by the homebuyers against the promoter and also many authority orders have not been complied with by the promoter.
In September 2020, UP-RERA decided to conduct the forensic audit of Supernova Phase-I, II, III, and IV of Supertech Realtors, of the Supertech Group, however, the promoter didn’t co-operate with the auditor which also means non-compliance with the RERA order.
