Narendra Modi to launch, inaugurate projects worth Rs 3,100 crore

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit Surat city on September 29 and hold a rally in the Limbayat area. He will also launch and inaugurate projects worth over Rs 3,100 during his visit.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit Surat city on September 29 and hold a rally in the Limbayat area. He will also launch and inaugurate projects worth over Rs 3,100 during his visit.

A meeting to make preparations for the PM’s visit was held at the district collector’s office on Monday where the city mayor, municipal officials, local MLAs and BJP office bearers remained present.

PM to inaugurate or launch Surat Municipal Corporation’s projects worth Rs 2,751, Dream City’s projects worth Rs 386 crore and a project of National Highways Authority of India worth Rs 43 crore. A computerized draw of PMAY Housing Scheme worth Rs 243 crore will also be done during the event.

PM will inaugurate the developed infrastructure at the Dream City project, said a BJP leader. “It is going to be a mega-event and around one lakh people are likely to participate,” said a BJP leader.
