HSIIDC auctions industrial plots in Kundli for Rs 745 crore

Plots of different sizes including 450 sq m, 1012.5 sq m and 1,800 sq m, with total area measuring about 40 acres, were auctioned between March 3 and March 7.

Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) conducted manual auction for allotment of 224 industrial plots at Kundli industrial estate in Sonepat for Rs 745.88 crore.

Plots of different sizes including 450 sq m, 1012.5 sq m and 1,800 sq m, with total area measuring about 40 acres, were auctioned between March 3 and March 7.

HSIIDC managing director Anurag Agarwal said the encouraging response shows the trust reposed in HSIIDC by industrialists despite the bleak global industrial scenario.

Due to its proximity with Delhi, Industrial Estate, Kundli is a meeting point of eastern and western periphery expressways on National Highway-1, Agarwal said. Elaborating on the advantages it offered, he said it has a technology park at Rai developed by HSIIDC and education city by HUDA.

In what comes as a boost to the Gurgaon region, HSIIDC has announced e-auction of the 140 acre warehousing site at “Warehousing and Transport Hub, Patli Hajipur, Manesar.” It is located on the Western Peripheral Expressway (KMP Expressway) abutting the Rewari-Delhi rail line.

Agarwal said the project, which is an investment opportunity for big developers, will be an impetus to the industry in Haryana on completion. The reserve price has been fixed at Rs 4.42 crore per acre. Prospective bidders are to register themselves by March 20 and the e-auction will be conducted on March 26.
