High bid for Rajiv Swagruha plots in Mahbubnagar ,fetches Rs 15.3 crore

High bids are being offered for plots auctioned in Rajiv Swagruha townships in the districts. Auctioning of Rajiv Swagruka Sarika Township open plots in Mahbubnagar fetched the districts administration Rs 15.33 crore on the first day of auction on June 20, collector S Venkat Rao said.

As many as 45 plots were sold and 190 bidders participated. The highest bid was Rs 19,000 per square yard and the lowest Rs 8,100 for one of the plots in the township.

The interest in acquiring the plots by bidders was because of the fact that the township is developed by the government and all required amenities are being provided. The township is situated in the 7th ward of Bhoothpur municipality.

“More facilities will be provided in future in the township by the municipality itself,” the collector said.

The bidding for all the plots will continue up to June 25.

In Karimnagar, there was a huge response for the auction of plots at Rajiv Swagruha Angarika township commercial plots at Nusthulapur in Thimmapur mandal.

For an East facing plot of 338.73 sq yards, one Kakkinala Ramesh was the highest bidder with the bid offered being Rs 21,400 per square yard.

A north-east facing plot sized 464.19 sq yards fetched a bid price of Rs 19,600 per square yard rom the same bidder.

A bidder Devarakonda Manjula Priyadarshini offered Rs 18,000 per square yard for an east facing commercial plot of size 1024.94 sq yards. The cost of the entire plot is Rs 1,84,48,920.

In the residential category, an East facing plot got the highest bid of Rs 18,500 per sq yard from Thodupunoori Chandrasekhar for the plot measuring 200 sq yard and South facing plot was offered the highest bid of Rs 16,200 per square yard by M/s Brindavan Management Services Pvt Ltd for the plot measuring 200 sq yards.

The auctions in both Nalgonda and Karimnagar took place on June 20.
