Mastic is an aggregate and a binder, this could be thin-set, mortar, adhesive, asphalt, concrete, spray patch, poly flex, gap, etc. Mastic in terms of pavement preservation is used as a patching material made of polymer modified asphalts (sealants) and aggregate.
