Bypass to Nayagarh town from NH-57 gets Centre’s approval-Nitin Gadkari

The construction of bypass to Odisha’s Nayagarh town from NH-57 has been approved by the Central Government, informed Union Road Transport & Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari, today.

Land acquisition for the purpose of construction of the bypass has also received Central Government’s nod.

A budget of Rs 300.33 crore has been sanctioned by the Government for the project.

Other road projects that were approved are upgradation to 2 lane (with paved shoulders) of Macherla to Dachepalli section of NH-167 AD in the State of Andhra Pradesh with a budget outlay of ₹ 403.22 Cr; widening of existing road from Intermediate Lane/ 2 Lane to 4 Lane between Rakholi-Khadoli-Velugam Section of NH 848A in U.T. of Dadra and Nagar Haveli & Daman and Diu with a budget outlay of ₹ 163.06 Cr; widening and improvement of existing carriageway of Medak-Siddipet section of NH-765 DG to 2 Lane (with paved shoulders) in the State of Telangana with a budget outlay of ₹ 882.18 Cr and construction of bypass to Gudiyatham Town including LA & Shifting of NH-234 (Mangalore -Villupuram Road) (New NH-75) in the State of Tamil Nadu with a budget outlay of ₹ 221.03 Cr.
